With the Mate 20 X 5G, Huawei presented its first 5G-enabled smartphone for the Austrian market on Wednesday evening in Vienna. Equipped with the in-house 5G modem Balong 5000, users should be able to download a complete film with two gigabytes in just 20 seconds using the device – the appropriate tariff and especially the necessary 5G network provided.
The Mate 20 X 5G comes with a 7.2-inch OLED display, which resolves with 2244 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, Huawei installed, as usual, its powerful Kirin 980 processor, which clocked eight cores with up to 2.6 gigahertz. They get support from eight gigabytes of RAM. The internal memory is 256 gigabytes and can be extended by Nano memory card by another 256 gigabytes.
In terms of camera, the Mate 20 X G5 comes with a triple camera (40, 20 and 8 megapixels) on the back and a 24-megapixel front camera. The battery capacity indicates the manufacturer with 4200 mAh. The operating system is Android 9.0, which Huawei puts into its EMUI user interface.
The Mate 20 X 5G will be available “soon” in the color “Emerald Green” (turquoise) for the price of 999 euros. For the separately available stylus pen M-Pen will be around 50 € payable.
