In a pre-release version of Apple software, a hint has been discovered on the launch of new iPhones on September 10th. In the latest beta release of the iPhone iOS 13 for developers, the Brazilian website iHelp BR found screenshots with that date on the calendar app’s icon.
These image files titled “HoldForRelease” appear when you set up new iPhones. Already a year ago, the date was September 12 – the day of the Apple event in which the models iPhone XS and XR were presented.
The date would be plausible
September 10th would fit Apple’s rhythm, after which the new iPhone generations were introduced on the second Tuesday or Wednesday in September. According to previous reports, the new iPhones to get including an improved camera with another lens.
The iPhone is by far the most important Apple product and last but not least after a decline in sales accounted for just under half of the Group’s business. At the same time, Apple is trying to free itself from dependence on iPhone sales by expanding its service business and accessories.
Other media also reported a September 10 presentation. The design should not change much, but Apple is likely to rely on new names, has leaked on the usually well-informed Twitter account Coin X. Accordingly, the Roman numeral should disappear from the name – the last iPhone was called “X” for “10”. The coming iPhones should simply be called “11” again, the Roman variant “XI” would confuse the users.
