“Let’s Dance” goes into the twelfth round. The first candidates for the new season have already been announced. In addition to Barbara Becker and Ella Endlich, Nazan Eckes will also be hovering over Germany’s most popular dance floor in March.
It all started with her: Nazan Eckes was Germany’s first “Let’s Dance” presenter. In 2006, the then 33-year-old hosted the dance show for the first time. First at the side of Hape Kerkeling, later next to Daniel Hartwich.
After three seasons, however, the Cologne-based “Let’s Dance” turned its back. “In addition to my tasks in the news section, I will concentrate on new projects in the show area at RTL,” she said at the time. Nazan Eckes was replaced by Sylvie Meis.
First Barbara Becker, now also Nazan Eckes
Now, eight years, the now 42-year-old is back – not as a presenter, but as a candidate, as the broadcaster now confirms. Thus, Nazan Eckes is already the third candidate, which is established for this year’s season. Just a few hours earlier, RTL announced that Barbara Becker and Ella Endlich will also be dancing from March 15th.
Who the other participants of the RTL show are, is still a secret. Only this much is certain: Daniel Hartwich will again moderate together with Victoria Swarovski. The chick of the crystal dynasty had replaced in 2018 Sylvie Meis. It starts on 15 March at 20:15 on RTL.
