Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga sing on the Oscar stage

Hollywood star Bradley Cooper (44) and singer Lady Gaga (32) together make an appearance in front of a large audience. The co-stars from “A Star Is Born” will sing the nominated song “Shallow” at the Academy Awards 2019. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences wrote on Twitter: “Cooper. Gaga. ‘Shallow’. #Oscars.”

Eight Oscar nominations

The performance of the two stars is not surprising, the performance of four of the five nominees for the best movie song has already been confirmed: “Shallow” from “A Star Is Born”, “I’ll Fight” from “RBG – A Life for Justice “The Place Where Lost Things Go” from “Mary Poppins’ Return” and “When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings” from “The Ballad of Buster Scruggs”. In addition, “All the Stars” from “Black Panther” received a nomination.

At the end of January, Lady Gaga’s “Enigma” show in Las Vegas gave a little taste of the Oscar show. Bradley Cooper was in the audience and then entered the stage completely unexpectedly for the fans to sing with the 32-year-old “Shallow”. For the song Lady Gaga – together with Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando and Andrew Wyatt – has already won the Golden Globe in the category “Best Film Song”. “A Star Is Born” has scored a total of eight Oscar nominations, including in the categories “Best Film”, “Best Actor” and “Best Actress”. The Oscars will be awarded on February 24, 2019.
