Fans of the Dortmund “crime scene” team around Peter Faber have to say goodbye to another main character in the investigation team after the departure of Daniel Kossik: Aylin Tezel aka Nora Dalay will also say goodbye to the crime series in 2020, as officially confirmed.
Only two more episodes, then the Dortmund “crime scene” team without investigator Aylin Tezel (35, “In the sky the day”) have to make do, as the WDR reported on Wednesday. In the press release, the actress announces that she has decided to leave the thriller series: “I had a really important and valuable time at the crime scene.”
Tezel has been playing alongside Jörg Hartmann (49, “The End of a Night”) since 2012 and Anna Schudt (44, “A cold would have been enough”). The fans still have exactly two films with the ambitious investigator Nora Dalay, who did not let her love for her colleague Daniel Kossik dissuade her career. Kossik was played by actor Stefan Konarske (38, “The Young Karl Marx”), who dropped out in 2017.
A “special” ending for Nora Dalay
Tezel is very grateful to her colleagues for “this wonderful journey together. Now it is time for a change, and although I will certainly miss Nora Dalay, I look forward to new artistic challenges, “the WDR quoted the actress to their decision. For Tezels exit 2020, one would think of something special, promises the responsible WDR editor Frank Tonsmann.
The filming of the 15th case of the Dortmund homicide commission began yesterday. The screenplay for the “Monster” titled case is by Jürgen Werner, directed by Torsten C Fischer.
