Turtelnd at the Berlinale opening

Glitz, glamor and a pretty in love couple. All this had to offer the opening gala of the Berlinale last night.

The 69th Berlin International Film Festival was officially opened yesterday in the capital. The opening gala, by the way, this year also moderated by Anke Engelke (53), under a special star: For the longtime leader Dieter Kosslick (70), it will be the last Berlinale. Of course, numerous celebrities did not miss out on attending the event. Fatih Akin (45), Iris Berben (68), Heike Makatsch (47) and Hollywood star Andie MacDowell (60) romped on the red carpet right before the opening .

However, two guests stole the show: Federal Foreign Minister Heiko Maas (52, SPD) and his partner Natalia Wörner (51). The two could not even leave each other in the flurry of lightning and turtled before the eyes of the press on the red carpet. Wörner chose the special occasion for a long, white dress with flared sleeves. For this she combined a small, black and sequined handbag. Maas appeared in an elegant black suit with a black shirt and black tie.
