Ahmed the Clock Kid, the Hero at Google and Facebook Wants Compensation of $15 Million From The City and The School

At one time, Ahmed Mohamed became the most popular geek in America. He is a schoolboy at Irving in Texas. He made a clock by himself and did a mistake of bringing it to school. Then he was arrested as the officials claimed the clock to be a home-made bomb.

After his release, Google and Facebook invited Ahmed. Even President Barack Obama invited him to the president house- White house. He called this 14 year nerd an inspiration for all the kids. He was named in the list of ’30 Most Influential Teens of 2015’ by Time magazine.

The-Clock

It was proven that Ahmed just made a clock; therefore no charges were filed against him. After this his family took a legal action and wrote to Irving city and Irving Independent School District placing their demands.

In the letter, they asked for $15 million from city and school district as Ahmed was ‘publicly mistreated’ and suffered by ‘severe psychological trauma.’ The letter asks the written apologies and the money within 60 days.
