Recipe of American Pasta salad

Summer is coming and we all want to take cool things like a pasta salad . I have to admit that I love cold pasta salad , because it is a recipe that gives a lot of play because we can put whatever we want.

In summer, apart from the pasta salad, we can make a cold chickpea salad or, for example, the typical potato salad. The ingredients with which I make this salad can be used perfectly for chickpea and salad.

I think there are two types of pasta salads, those that contain oil and vinegar and those that are dressed with pink sauce or mayonnaise . If we want to take care of the line a lot better, seasoned with oil and vinegar, but I must admit that the pasta salad with pink sauce freaks me out. (I recommend it to you)

Regarding the pasta to use, I think spirals are the best type of pasta. I have tried other types, but the ones that have come out better are the pasta salad with spirals.

The ingredients for the salad are totally optional, you can put whatever you like and in the quantity that you like the most, I invite you to experiment.

Ingredients pasta salad (for 6 people)
500 grams of spirals
3 cans of tuna
1 pot of canned mushrooms
2 cans of corn
1 purple onion
250 grams of cherry tomato
300 grams of diced ham
300 cured cheese in cubes
15 crab sticks
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil
Vinegar
Spices to taste
How to make pasta salad
1.- The first thing we will do is cook the pasta as indicated by the manufacturer. I recommend buying specific spirals for pasta salad, one of those colors.

2.- On the other hand, in a big bowl we are adding all the chopped ingredients. The ham, the cheese, the onion, the sticks, etc … the ones that do not have to be chopped are also incorporated.

3.- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it with a little cold water so it cools down so that you can have the salad ready beforehand.

4.- Mix all the ingredients with the pasta and season to taste.

5.- Chill in the fridge and ready.
