Only a few days ago he was released from the US detention center, now the British rapper 21 Savage new trouble in the house: He faces a prolonged prison sentence for fraud. Currently he is only on bail at liberty.

It threatens new trouble for the British rapper 21 Savage (26, “Without Warning”): Just days after he was released from the US deportation detention center, he now has to justify himself for alleged fraud. Already on the last Friday he announced himself according to “TMZ” voluntarily with the police, otherwise an arrest warrant would have been enforced. However, after half an hour he was released on bail again.

The rapper allegedly cheated in September 2016, a concert promoter in the US state of Georgia. At that time, 21 Savage with its agreed fee in the amount of about 15,000 euros of lost things to be gone again. Now it comes either to a court hearing or the musician voluntarily repays the damage incurred and thus escapes a conviction.

Only a few days ago he was released after ten days in prison from a deportation facility. What no-one knew before: 21 Savage is not a US citizen at all, but a British citizen, who arrived in 2005 with a short visa and has been illegally resident in the United States since 2006. This confirmed the US immigration office. A deportation is still not off the table.
